Chapter 568 The Deal With Yun Shen
Fu Chengyan frowned because of Shi Nuan’s words. “May, Shen Qianan will be fine. You must believe me!” He reached out and stroked Shi Nuan’s back. After she had finally calmed down, Fu Chengyan’s expression completely fell.
Li Heng’s people had already searched for three days, but they still couldn’t find Shen Qianan. Besides, the chip Fu Chengyan implanted on Shen Qianan was removed by Fu Sijue, so they had no other way to track Shen Qianan down.
Fu Chengyan could no longer calm down when he stared at Shi Nuan, who had just been put to sleep by Huo Ling.
Huo Ling shook her head helplessly when she looked at Shi Nuan’s condition. “Mr. Fu, although Ms. Nuan is in pink now and the drug hasn’t taken effect yet, she is now pregnant. Seeing how wary Fu Chengyan was, Huo Ling could not help but be envious of Shi Nuan. “Ms. Nuan is so lucky!”
“It’s okay, Chengyan. There’s no need to be worried. Li Heng had sent his men, and they were good at searching for people. Relax.” Su Shaoqing patted Fu Chengyan’s shoulder and said, “Now, the urgent matter is that we need to settle the Yun family and Fu Sijue’s foundation at Jiang City.”
Fu Chengyan’s gaze turned cold as he turned his head toward Su Shaoqing and answered, “Yes!” Su Shaoqing was right. The priority now is to settle the Yun family and Fu Sijue’s foundation in Jiang City.
According to Fu Chengyan’s information on hand, Fu Sijue’s foundation in Yun Group was very solid due to his identity as Yun Jing. Besides, he had a lot of power outside the group, and these were all the plans Yun Jing had secretly laid down throughout the years. He must take action quickly since Fu Sijue was not in Jiang City at the moment.
On the next day, Fu Chengyan called Yun Shen and sent all the important information to the latter. Yun Shen was not an easy man to deal with either. Yun Jing was supposed to handle the matter at home, but he went overseas recently, leaving all the matters to Yun Shen’s father, Yun Hao. However, Yun Hao did not like to be in charge, and he only wanted the Yun family’s money. He would prefer to live in peace and happiness. Thus, he was forced to be the leader this time.
Yun Shen sat quietly in the crowd. In the Yun family, Yun Shen was like Yun Hao. He only liked to enjoy life and loaf around. Yun Jing was not around, and Yun Hao was not someone who could handle important matters. Thus, ultimately all the burden fell on Yun Mu.
It seemed like Yun Mu was awaiting this opportunity. He wanted to make use of this chance and take over the whole family.
The family meeting had been going on for a few hours, but there was no conclusion to all the arguments yet.
Yun Shen lowered his head and kept checking on his phone as if he did not care about the matter. In reality, Yun Shen was manipulating the stocks of Yun Group.
He could make drastic changes to Yun Group’s stock price by simply moving his fingers while he listened to the elderlies of the Yun family argue with each other. When he was done, Yun Shen raised his head and saw Jiang Jingyun walking down the stairs. He quickly stood up and said, “Grandma, why did you come down?”
Jiang Jingyun was shocked when she saw Yun Shen’s face. She did not think much until she patted the back of Yun Shen’s hand. “Shen, what is going on? You all have been noisy for a few hours, and the noise is giving me a headache!” Though Jiang Jingyun said so, she was smart and secretly observed the crowd.
She first looked at Yun Shen, then Yun Mu. Lastly, her gaze fell on Yun Hao. “Hao, what happened?”
“Nothing. Mother, why are you here?” Yun Hao quickly rushed to her and helped Jiang Jingyun to sit down. “It’s some unimportant matter of the company. We’re discussing who should be the one in charge because Jing is not here.”
“Jing is not around?” Jiang Jingyun was shocked, and she started to search in the crowd. She was anxious when she realized she could not see Yun Jing. “Where’s Jing? Where did he go? Why is Jing not in?”
“Shen, where is your elder brother?” Jiang Jingyun continued, holding Yun Shen’s hand tight. The old lady might seem to be fragile and look as if she only cared about her eldest grandson in other people’s eyes, but her grip on Yun Shen’s hand was extremely tight, making Yun Shen frown lightly. He quickly reached out and patted Jiang Jingyun. “Grandma, Jing is fine. He has some other things to deal with, so he’s not at home.”
“Not at home? Deal with other things? Yun Group is in such big trouble now. How long do you all want to hide it from me? Call Jing, now!”
Though the old lady might seem like she was getting senile, she was sober and clear-minded at the critical times. When she heard Yun Shen’s words, she immediately became anxious and added, “Shen, call your brother now!”
“Grandma!” Yun Shen helped her to sit down and patted the back of her hand to comfort her. “Grandma, don’t worry. Even if I contact Jing now, he can’t come back immediately because he’s overseas.”
“Then…” Jiang Jingyun’s gaze turned to Yun Shen. “Shen, you’ll handle Yun Group for now!”
“But…” Yun Shen hesitated. What is she thinking? I will never involve myself in the matters of Yun Group now. ”Grandma, I’m used to having fun and loafing around. Let’s pass the matter to Mu.”
Yun Shen smiled at Yun Mu, and Yun Mu felt his heart skip a beat. What is Yun Shen thinking? Though Yun Shen has always been carefree, this matter is related to their interest. Why is he acting like he doesn’t care at all?

He never completed matters perfectly, and he always messed up things one after another. Thus, the two famous figures of the Yun family were Yun Jing and Yun Shen. Jiang Jingyun rarely kept the second eldest grandson, Yun Mu, in mind.
“All right then. Before Jing return, let Mu settle the matters. Shen, but you should help Mu. You two are brothers.”
“All right, Grandma!” Yun Shen answered with a wide smile. The meeting regarding Yun Group finally ended with Jiang Jingyun’s orders.
After returning to the room and closing the door, Yun Shen took out his phone and checked the stock chart that he had checked earlier. The corners of his lips curled into a cold smile. Then, he called Fu Chengyan. “Thanks!”
On the other end, Fu Chengyan stared at Shi Nuan, who was in her deep sleep, and a gentle smile appeared on his face. He caressed Shi Nuan’s face softly, raised his head, and replied, “Don’t be happy too early. According to your understanding of Yun Jing, do you think he will give up so easily?”
“Oh? What do you mean by that, Mr. Fu?” Yun Shen asked.
“Our target tonight will be Royal Casino!” Fu Chengyan heard Yun Shen chuckle as he finished his sentence. Then, Fu Chengyan continued, “It’ll be my gift to you.”
“What do you want me to do?”
Yun Shen and Fu Chengyan shared the same thought. They knew there was no such thing as a free meal in the world. “You know Yun Jing and the people around him well. Help me find Shen Qianan.”
“Shen Qianan?” Yun Shen narrowed his eyes. “She’s not at the villa anymore?” Then, he chuckled. “Oh. Dirtbags usually have many hideouts. Haha! Sure. You can count on me on this matter.”
Yun Shen hung up the call and took a box of cigarettes from the drawer. He used his slender fingers to pick out a stick of cigarette, but he did not light it up immediately.
He stared at the dark sky outside the window and suddenly chuckled. It seemed like he could hear a woman’s hoarse cry, then she was shouting for help, but to no avail. Instead, she got violated by a drunkard when she was at death’s door.
Yun Shen narrowed his eyes and stared at his own fingers. When observed carefully, one could see that there was a scar on his index finger, which would never heal for the rest of his life.
He used his fingertips to fiddle the cigarette. After a moment, he lit up the cigarette but did not smoke it. Yun Shen placed his hands on the edge of the balcony. He could still hear cries of cicadas from the outside. He felt frustrated and annoyed, especially in the midsummer weather.
As Yun Shen leaned on the balcony, he stared at the garden downstairs. It’s so late, and Yun Hao is still smoking. I wonder what he is thinking right now.
Yun Shen smiled. A hint of rage flashed in his eyes, but he kept it away immediately. The Yun family. I’ve waited for so long. I guess it’s time for the end.
