Henry got into the car, put on his seat belt, and asked casually. After Jasper got into the car, Henry gently stepped on the accelerator.
“I’ll go back to the factory, there are still some things I need to deal with.”
Jasper leaned back on the seat and let out a sigh. “Okay, I’ll drive you back first.”

At 7:30 in the evening, Jasper returned to Lane Automotive Factory.
Back at the office, he spent half an hour dealing with the trivial matters of the factory before he lay down on the sofa and fell asleep. When he woke up, it was already 8 o’clock the next morning.
After a light breakfast in the staff cafeteria, Jasper went to the research room.
Beckett and others also brought some good news to Jasper. The engine that Lane Automotive Factory self-developed had been successfully manufactured!
“Mr. Lane, we succeeded!”
When he saw Jasper coming in, Beckett told Jasper the good news and pointed at the assembly station.
On the assembly table was a small engine.
“Very good… Then what are we waiting for? Put the engine in the car and try it!”
“Alright!”
Beckett and the others nodded, and together, they lifted the engine and walked toward the workshop. There were readily-assembled cars inside the workshop. With the joint effort of several people, the engine was soon installed.
Jasper intended to test the car’s mobility himself. He got into the car, drove the car to the test track, and then stepped on the accelerator hard. In an instant, he felt a strong force push against his back.
Jasper nodded in satisfaction, drove the car to the end of the track, and stopped.
Beckett and the others were already waiting at the end.
“The mobility seems good. But there should be room for improvement.”
After getting out of the car, Jasper closed the door and said as he looked at the men.
Jasper had high requirements for cars, so that was why he said that.
“Alright, we will continue to improve. However, I would suggest letting the car enter the market first and let consumers experience it. Sometimes, customer feedback is helpful to help us decide what to improve.” Beckett adjusted his glasses and expressed his opinion.
After thinking about it, Jasper gave Beckett a thumbs up.
“That’s a good idea. Okay, then we‘ll do this in the future. We’ll let customers offer feedback and if there is any, we will improve the problem area.”
The men nodded, seemingly agreeing with Jasper.
“Mr. Lane, if a car wants to enter the market, it needs to be approved by the quality inspection department. I’ll go with you in the afternoon. We can go to the vehicle inspection center together. Once it passes the quality inspection, our car can be officially put on the market.” Beckett walked up to Jasper and said.
“Alright.”
Jasper did not really understand what he needed to prepare for a car to enter the market. Beckett, however, was an expert in this area. As long as Beckett was around, it should not be a problem.
At noon, Beckett began to prepare the materials while eating lunch. Beckett had put everything together from the various draft designs of the first-generation Lane cars to various amounts of detailed data. At the same time, Holden also seized the last few moments to run a few tests such as safety performance testing and crash testing.
In the afternoon, after everything was ready, and Jasper set off with Beckett.
Since the first-generation Lane car could not be driven on the road yet, it could only be transported on a trailer.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the local vehicle quality inspection office. Soon, the first-generation Lane car was set down from the trailer, and after the formalities were completed, the quality inspection began.
From 1p.m. until 4pm., Jasper and Beckett waited for three full hours.
Finally, around 4:30, the vehicle quality inspection was completed.
“Mr. Lane, congratulations. Your car passed the quality inspection.”
