Ms. Schuler and Mr. Laine!
For today’s JW, at this scale, ordinary employees could hardly interact with these two people except for in the summary meeting and company-wide e-mails. Therefore, the names Ms. Schuler and Mr. Laine carried a very special, and almost sacred, meaning.
It was just like how in later generations, it would be unrealistic and a dream for an ordinary employee from Abbylon to have direct contact with Mr. Marlon.
As soon as Amy said this, even the deputy manager of the marketing operations department was shocked, let alone the room full of colleagues who turned their heads to gawk at Sully.
The deputy manager of the marketing operations department knew that there was someone named Sully, but he had never interacted with him before.
After all, Sully was just an ordinary employee and there was a team leader above him. Moreover, above the team leader was the supervisor, and above the supervisor was the deputy manager, and finally above him was the general manager of the department.

Sully did not know how he took the money. He was so confused, and he only knew that he kept giggling and saying thank you.
For Amy, this was a simple, albeit interesting, task. There was nothing special about it.
“The money has been delivered, I‘m leaving now.”
Although Amy was gone, her sweet scent still lingered in the room. As soon as Amy left, the entire marketing department
exploded in excitement.
Everyone gathered around Sully and asked all at once, “Wow, Sully, I never knew that you and Mr. Laine know each other.”
“Mr. Laine even specifically asked Ms. Schuler to get someone to send money over. How much it is?”
Even the deputy manager was very curious, much less the ordinary employees.
Sully hurriedly said, “Don’t overthink. Mr. Laine ate in my family’s shop this morning and forgot to bring cash. So, he specifically ordered someone to pass me the money.”
As he said that, Sully opened the envelope, took out the two dollars and fifty cents inside, and said, “Look, it’s really for breakfast and nothing else.”

If there was any change to Sully’s life, it was only that their hotdog shop had become a prime breakfast destination for JW employees because of the appearance of Mr. Laine after this incident.
Its popularity surpassed even the company’s cafeteria, which was known for its delicious and plentiful food. When Sully got the money, Jasper was making a long-distance call.
“I’ll need your help for something, and it will only be over these two days.” Jasper went straight to the point.
Far away in Harbor City, Celine was inside the office in the headquarters of the Terra regional branch of Colossal Investments when she bowed her head and signed her name on a document. After handing it to the secretary and signaling for her to leave the office, Celine leaned back comfortably on her chair and joked, “Mr. Laine, you are a big hit now and you even crushed the United State stock market. What else can a little damsel like me help you with?”
