“This is the boss of our company.” Sully introduced hurriedly.
“Mr. Laine, these are my parents.”
Sully’s parents became more nervous when they heard that Jasper was actually the boss of JW.
They had never made contact with such a big shot before, and then when they thought of the jokes they had made before, they were suddenly so nervous that they did not know what to say.
Jasper sensed their nervousness, but naturally, he would not embarrass them. When he saw such a simple and honest couple, he naturally thought of his own parents. With a light sigh, Jasper said, “Okay, I’ll not stay and interrupt your business.”
As he said that, Jasper patted Sully on the shoulder and said, “I still owe your family two dollars and fifty cents for the meal. I really don’t have any cash with me. I will send someone to bring it back.”
Sully waved his hand hurriedly. “No, we can’t take it, Mr. Laine. We can’t take the money.”
“Nonsense, this is your parents’ hard-earned money, and they should take it. How can you not accept it?”
Jasper ignored Sully and said to the middle-aged couple. “Thank you, today was really embarrassing. I don’t have any money with me, so can I please owe it for a while?”
The couple hurriedly rejected but Jasper did not say much. After they chatted for a while, Jasper left.
“Son, your boss is so young.”
Long after Jasper left, the wife of the shop owner said to her son, who was still looking at the door in a daze.
“Yes, he is a legend in our country.” Sully sighed and said with some excitement, “I can boast about what happened today in the company for the rest of my life.”
“You can’t tell them.”
The shop owner glared at his son and scolded, “You stupid boy, you really are inexperienced. Do you think you can go out and tell the world that your boss didn’t bring money with him? If he hears of this, he would think you’re talking bad about him behind his back. Do you still want to keep your job or not?”
“Our boss is not like that,” Sully said aggrievedly.
Even though he said so, Sully really did not dare to publicize the matter.

In the morning, Sully, who had just arrived at the company, was standing in front of his team leader dejectedly. He was delayed by more than ten minutes because of Jasper, and naturally, became the last person on the team to arrive at the company.
“Sully, you know the rules in our team. Okay, I won’t say much. You will need to perform a show during the lunch break today, so hurry up and decide whether to sing or dance.”
The team leader was a man in his thirties. He said this cheerfully.
The other team members also cheered. This kind of punishment was not heavy and it was very interesting. As long as it was not them who needed to do this, they were all happy to witness it.
Sully was depressed when someone knocked and opened the door to his team’s office.
The assistant of the chief financial officer, Amy Snowden, was standing outside the door.
“Miss Snowden, how can we help you?”
As soon as Amy arrived, the deputy manager of Sully’s marketing department immediately ran out.
Amy was Wendy‘s assistant, and her level was similar to that of the deputy manager of the marketing operation department. Since Wendy’s identity was well known throughout the company, as the assistant of the boss’ wife, even the boss of the marketing operation department dared not to put on airs in front of Amy. Amy smiled lightly and said, “Is there someone named Sully Ferguson here? Ms. Schuler was entrusted by Mr. Laine to give Sully back the money for breakfast today.”
