Chapter 545 Fu Sijue Is Cold
“What did you say?” Not long ago, Fu Sijue had a frosty expression. However, his look was dark as night at this point. He reached out to hold Shen Qianan’s hand while staring at her with a piercing gaze. Fu Sijue exerted some force on his hand and successfully held her down, restraining her from moving.
Shen Qianan felt pain, a pain that was sharper than a piercing pain. Her face went pale while facing Fu Sijue who was wearing a mask. Although she did not see Fu Sijue’s expression, she understood that Fu Sijue was shocked and in pain through his icy gaze.
Fu Sijue clenched Shen Qianan’s wrist tightly as if the former would eat the latter whole anytime. “Say that again!” he forced those words out through gritted teeth. He was so ferocious that it seemed like he wanted to devour her.
It was Shen Qianan’s first time to see Fu Sijue’s cold expression while exuding a menacing aura as if he was an evil messenger coming from hell. Petrified, Shen Qianan trembled in fear. Meanwhile, Fu Sijue had never retracted his gaze from her. “How dare you?”
Is she out of her mind? How dare she inject the virus into her body?
At that moment, he really felt like choking her to death. “You did that for Fu Chengyan? Do you really love him so much that you don’t mind jeopardizing your own life for him?”
Fu Sijue’s eyes went bloodshot as he shouted, “Speak now!”
Shen Qianan was shocked by Fu Sijue’s reaction. Looking straight at his eyes tinted with malicious intent, Shen Qianan knew she should not have challenged that man. “Yes. I’ve injected the virus, and it’s the same one as Nuan. I extracted it from her body. Look, we are sisters. They say sisters should go through thick and thin together. “You’re insane!”
Fu Sijue yanked Shen Qianan’s hand forcefully. “Are you tired of living?”
Shen Qianan was flung onto the massive bed by Fu Sijue. Although the bed was soft, she felt her head pound upon the surface before slumping onto the bed. She could not think appropriately at that time.
It took her a moment to recover before she raised her gaze to stare at Fu Sijue. “I want to live. But what can I do since you want to kill my sister?”
“Don’t you hate her?”
“Why should I hate her?” Shen Qianan chuckled. “I will never hate her because she’s my younger sister!”
“Fu Chengyan injected you?” Fu Sijue fixed his gaze on Shen Qianan. “Are you crazy? Do you think you can easily threaten me into giving you the antidote just like that?”
Shen Qianan laughed. “I did not expect you to ask me to come over. After all, you were the one who did not want me at that time. I was rejected even though I took the initiative to look for you. Now, you are the one coming for me!” Shen Qianan looked at Fu Sijue and continued, “I did not expect you to bring me here by force. What do you want to do? Are you here to tell me that you almost succeeded? Haha. Fu Sijue, you have underestimated Fu Chengyan and his people!”
Shen Qianan got up from the bed and eyed Fu Sijue attentively. “If you had never injected the virus into Pei Huan and Bao, Li Heng would not have been involved in this.” She raised her head while saying, “You even set Pei Huan and Bao up? You’ve planned everything for so long. Why do you have so much hate for the Fu clan? Pei Huan was just back at the Fu residence at that time, yet you are so ruthless in making a move on her.”
Fu Sijue smiled. “Actually, I did not plan to do anything to her. It was the decision by that old man in the Li clan.”
Shen Qianan felt a chill running down her spine. “Fu Sijue, you are horrible! You are indeed absolutely horrible!”

As expected, Shen Qianan became calm instantly. She must have drained out of energy after the arguments with Fu Sijue. She tried to struggle but to no avail. Knowing that it was futile to make him let her go, Shen Qianan stopped resisting anymore.
Seeing that the woman in his arms had quietened down, Fu Sijue carried her downstairs and headed toward a restaurant.
There were some people guarding the restaurant. When they saw Fu Sijue carrying Shen Qianan downstairs, they fixed their gazes on the duo while standing afar. “Mr. Fu!”
A guy in black strode over and stood in front of Fu Sijue. Afterward, the former started reporting to the latter, not trying to hide it from Shen Qianan.
Hearing that, Fu Sijue narrowed his eyes and smirked. “It’s fine. You may leave now.”
“Yes Sir.” That guy paused for a moment while gazing at Shen Qianan. It took a short while for Fu Sijue to warn him with a menacing gaze before he left.
Shen Qianan looked at that guy for a while, frowning.
She thought that guy looked similar to the one who had kidnapped her from their back. However, they had different faces.
Fu Sijue noticed the unhappiness on Shen Qianan’s face while looking at the guy leaving their sight. At that sight, Fu Sijue was displeased too.
“Eat now!”
Shen Qianan snapped back to her senses. She came to a realization that she was sitting on a chair with food piling in front of her. However, Fu Sijue was nowhere to be seen. “When will you let me go?”
Fu Sijue seemed not to hear what she said. Instead, he raised his gaze and stared at the two servants. “Serve the food now. Can’t you see that Mrs. Fu is starving?”
“Yes, Mr. Fu.”
The servants went to the kitchen and started bringing the food to them. After placing the cutlery before Shen Qianan, the servants left the scene.
Shen Qianan could not help but shudder when Fu Sijue addressed her as “Mrs. Fu.” She tilted her head and realized she was close to Fu Sijue’s chin.
His mask did not completely cover his face. Thus, she could see his sharp jaw-line clearly.
Shen Qianan had always been curious about Fu Sijue’s face underneath the mask. Every time she slept with him, she was tempted to remove his mask when he had fallen asleep soundly.
However, Fu Sijue would notice whenever she attempted to take off his mask. Fu Sijue held onto her hand while staring at her icily. He nibbled her ear while pulling her into his arms. With a firm voice, he said, “The ones who had seen my face, they are all dead.”
Shen Qianan could not help but tremble in fear upon hearing that. Even after his warning, she would still try to peek and see him bare-faced behind the mask.
“What’s up? Are you full just by looking at me?”
Fu Sijue looked at her with his head tilted. He deliberately pulled a chair and sat beside Shen Qianan.
He picked up the chopsticks with his slender fingers and filled Shen Qianan’s plate with the food. “Please eat. Isn’t all of this your favorite food?”
My favorite?
Shen Qianan threw Fu Sijue a cold look. “Do you really know what’s my favorite food?”
Fu Sijue retracted his hand while staring at that woman calmly. “Why? You don’t like to eat this?” Fu Sijue beckoned over the two servants and said, “Mrs. Fu doesn’t like these. You all understand that I won’t make useless people stay in the house.”
“Mrs. Fu, I’m sorry! Mr. Fu, please spare our lives!” The two servants went pale-faced and fell to their knees when they heard that. They knocked their heads on the marble floor forcefully. Although they were the ones suffering from the pain, Shen Qianan was shocked to see that. “Please stop it! I’ll eat the food! Is that fine?”
With that said, Shen Qianan lowered her head and started eating the rice in the bowl. She was afraid that Fu Sijue would be crazy and put them into a tight spot.
Since Shen Qianan was so focused on eating the food with her head lowered, she did not realize the smile with a hint of affection on his face. “Eat slowly. You might choke.”
Shen Qianan did not care so much at that time. She only thought that Fu Sijue was a demon that had gotten more ruthless than four years ago. She had regretted her decision to agree with Fu Chengyan to come here. However, it was too late for her to regret it at that time.
Seeing Shen Qianan’s appearance, Fu Sijue was visibly in a good mood. “Don’t eat so quickly. No one is going to take the food from you. Tell them what you want to eat, and they’ll prepare it for you.”
“Fu Sijue, when are you letting me go?”
Fu Sijue had a drastic change in his expression upon hearing that. “Is it not good staying here?” he asked sorrowfully. “Qian, do you still remember what you told me four years ago?”
Shen Qianan paused, and her hand holding the chopsticks trembled slightly. “I don’t.”
“I have promised that I will marry you. We’ll live in a place where no one knows about us. We’ll take care of and raise our kids together. Do you still remember the painting I have drawn for you? That’s our house. I’ve prepared it. Once I am done with everything here, I’ll bring you to that house. Is it okay?”
He leaned close to her and stroked Shen Qianan’s silky hair with his slender fingers.
Shen Qianan would have believed what he said if she was not in the current situation.
However, she had seen Fu Sijue’s indifferent attitude. She understood how cruel and ruthless that guy was.
The things he had promised previously seemed like a joke at this moment. She trusted him so much previously. However, he proved her wrong that she was no different from other women.
Fu Sijue is a merciless guy. He won’t fall in love with me. On top of that, it’s impossible he will change for me.
“After you are done with everything here?” Shen Qianan murmured. Then, she laughed and added, “Done with what? Destroying the Fu clan or ruining my sister? Do you think I will go with you?”
Fu Sijue’s face fell while exuding a menacing aura. He reached out and raised her chin. “After all this, you can’t bear to leave Fu Chengyan? Is he that good? He doesn’t love you at all. He merely thought you were a replacement to Shi Nuan when you coupled up with him previously.”
