Luna took a deep breath and stared at Joshua indifferently. “Since you were the one who suggested it, I’ll do it.“

She did not buy a single word of his. Joshua’s explanations were futile in her eyes.

“Mommy.“ Nellie grabbed onto Luna’s hand, her voice quivering, “Nigel told me just now that he thinks Neil isn’t dead, that he might come back… Do you think it’s true?“
