Granny Lynch let out an exhale and said in a low, hoarse voice, her foggy eyes still fixated on Luna’s face, “Luna, can you promise me one thing?”
“Yes, tell me what it is.”
“Joshua’s father and brother have become distant from him. After I’m gone, and if you leave him, he’ll be…very lonely.” Granny Lynch let out an exhale and continued, “No matter who you are or what you become in the future, please don’t ever give up on Joshua.”
