Wendy nodded heartily and said, “Handsome!”
Wendy was not saying that because she was his family. She was sincere.
Jasper’s did not look bad. The edges and lines of his handsome facial features were very masculine, especially ever since he was reincarnated. After all, there was a 60-year-old soul hiding under the appearance of a young man in his twenties. The vigor of a young man and the maturity of the old man were intertwined with each other.

Jasper walked to the window and through the shutters where he saw the cars he sent out now coming back with his guests. Even though the guest came from different places, they all shared a similar identity. They were the richest people in the country.
In truth, the circle of richest people was very small and always contained the same individuals from a few industries. Jasper had met most of them on different occasions.
Therefore, the ground floor of the manor was very lively at that moment. When everyone met the people they knew, they would greet each other and chat. On occasion, a friend would introduce a new friend to their group. They were all smart people, so they were not shy. After chatting for a while, they would become familiar with another person whom they had come to know through a mutual friend.
Meanwhile, everyone was patiently waiting for the start of the party alongside the appearance of the host.
“’What a grand occasion,” Jasper said softly.
Then, he laughed at himself and said, “I wonder if this is my peak before everything is ruined.”
“Nonsense!”
Wendy snorted. She walked behind Jasper, gently stretched out her hand to wrap around Jasper’s waist, put her face on Jasper’s back, and sniffed the masculine scent coming from Jasper’s body. He smelled dignified and steadfast.
“You won’t lose.”
He placed his palm on Wendy’s hands that were wrapped around his stomach. His large hand enveloped her small hands warmed them up.
“It’s enough as long as you’re here,” Jasper said with a smile.
Jasper wanted to turn around, but Wendy said softly, “Don’t turn around.”
“What’s wrong?” Jasper asked curiously.
Behind Jasper, Wendy’s warm face was glued to Jasper’s back. Her charming expression looked so tender and beautiful, but her eyes were filled with tears.
She did not want Jasper to see such a shameful look on her.
At this moment, there was a knock on the door before it was slowly opened.
When Julian saw the two of them holding each other from the door and was stunned. Then, he quickly turned around and walked out of the door as fast as lightning. He spoke through the door with his body turned to one side, “The representative from Harbor City, Kayden Langdon, Nawait’s Todd Puller from Nawait Semiconductor Manufacturing, the little prince, and Lord Alvarado are all here. Henry went to welcome them.”
Wendy yelped in shame and pulled her hands away. After she let go of Jasper, she turned around and ran into the other room like a spooked rabbit.
“Alright, I’ll head over now.”
Jasper replied to Julian and then to the door of the other room. After knocking, he smiled and said, “I’m going to meet the guests. Are you coming?”
“You should go first. I’ll catch up later.”
Wendy’s muffled and shy voice came from inside the room.
With a chuckle, Jasper turned around and walked toward the door.
“Let’s go. We’ll go meet them.”
Jasper walked out of the room and raised his arms to stretch a bit. The laziness and warmth in his eyes disappeared instantly and was replaced by the infinite self-confidence and the flamboyance of a young emperor who was ascending the throne for the first time.
