“What a flirt!” Fu Chengyan pinched Shi Nuan’s nose and looked at her tenderly. “You must want something if you’re treating me so well.”
“You’re so smart!” Shi Nuan laughed, then tiptoed and kissed Fu Chengyan’s chin. “Shen Shixiu.”
Fu Chengyan narrowed his eyes. “You want me to investigate him?”
Shi Nuan nodded, then sighed softly. “He looks so similar to my uncle. Even though it’s not uncommon for people to look alike…” Shi Nuan paused. “I look rather similar to Shen Qianan. Now, Shen Shixiu looks similar to my uncle, too. Yan, do you still remember my family background?”
“You want me to investigate your relationship with Shen Shixiu and Shen Qianan?”
Shi Nuan nodded. Even though she was still smiling, it was now bittersweet. “I don’t want to believe it is true, either, but don’t you think it is too much of a coincidence?”
“Yes.” Fu Chengyan nodded. Holding Shi Nuan’s hand, he walked inside. “Is that why you wanted to stay there today? To see if Shen Shixiu is really Shi Yu?”
“Yes!”

Shen Shixiu gave Jiang Zhan a look and said, “Pass me the room card.”
Jiang Zhan immediately handed it to him. “Sir, both your rooms are on the seventh floor.”
“Okay!” Shen Shixiu nodded and replied, “Go and buy some necessities for the child and investigate Fu Chengyan and Shi Nuan!”
Hearing this, Shen Qianan glanced at Shen Shixiu, but he didn’t look at her as he carried Yu into the hotel.
Shen Qianan had no choice but to follow him. “Shixiu, why are you investigating Yan and Shi Nuan?”
Glancing at Shen Qianan, Shen Shixiu smiled grimly. Shen Qianan was unnerved by Shen Shixiu’s expression. “I only…”

“You should know that Yu isn’t Fu Chengyan’s son. If you continue on like this, it won’t end well for you and Jiangyuan Group!”
